Incorrectly considered to be a minor sector in the transportation field, at least for the local market, railway services are an important part of Züst & Bachmeier’s business.

This type of transport involves large industrial customers with large volumes and long distances. Metal products, raw materials, chemicals, paper and wood are some of the commodities transported by rail.

One of the company goals is to develop this sector further, also in order to be able to aid the development of an ecological policy in compliance with European laws, and as part of an eco-sustainable development.
